Jas. A. Spicak Construction, LLC has been in existence since 1999, as a General Contractor/Design-Build firm, with projects completed throughout the North Shore, from Lake Bluff to Evanston.

The firm is led by Owner, James A. Spicak, who has over 30 years of experience in the business. He studied Architecture at the University of Illinois-Chicago and worked as an architect for 10 years. Since then he worked for two Design-Build firms in the North Shore as a Project Manager, before establishing his own company in 1999. Although he no longer provides Architectural Services himself, he works with many talented Architects throughout the North Shore area.

As an established firm specializing in Remodeling, Additions, Renovations and Custom Homes, Jas. A. Spicak Construction, LLC has a professional and knowledgeable staff consisting of Project Managers, Administrative/Bookkeeping Staff, Field Superintendents/Foremen and Carpentry staff.

Each project, from large to small has a management team, lead by a Foreman/Field Superintendent, depending on the size of the project. It is their responsibility to oversee a project from pre-construction to final completion. An awareness of on site progress, administration, cost control and communication between the client and architect are considered critical to a successful project.

A Project Manager will handle the procurement of all necessary sub-contractors to best complete each project. Sub-contractors are selected on the basis of their qualifications, strengths and ability to complete the project as successfully and efficiently as possible.
